Event Budgets Going Up Up Up in 2008

Along with other marketing budget increases, many marketers report planned budget increases for their event marketing objectives for 2008.  This data may be found in a December 10 article from B to B Magazine, which claims that 49.5% of event marketers will boost budgets this year, as compared to 2007’s 44.1%. 

Other sectors that purport budget boosts include online marketers (79.1%) and direct marketers (49%).  These increases are expected to initiate new advertising campaigns and hiring.  For more information, read the entire article.
