Trade Show Statisticians Hard at Work

April 29, 2008 —

To answer that ever-important marking question, “What’s my ROI?” Exhibit Surveys, Inc. compiled the latest exhibiting polls to identify current trends.  According to the report, not much change occurred between 2006 and 2007, although the figures are still something to see.

Some statistical highlights…

82% - Percentage of attendees with the authority to recommend or make the ultimate buy decisions

8.3 - Number of average hours attendees spent visiting a show, up 8% since 2005

$159 - Average cost each exhibitor spent for every visitor who entered their respective booths, up 19% since 2006

$261 - Average cost each exhibitor spent for every visitor who held face-to-face talks with booth staff, up 15% since 2006
