Breath-taking views, tropical climates, and passport-free travel make Puerto Rico an ideal destination spot. Toss in two convention centers and hotel accommodations with more on the way, and San Juan, Puerto Rico becomes an all-inclusive site ideal for trade shows of any industry. The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau has its sights set on this goal, but before you take a hop, a skip, and a leap to San Juan, consider the costs that may be associated with your trade show stay. A daily hotel rate may run $192.75, on average, and inbound shipments are subject to a 6.6% excise tax.
