Guidelines for Working as a Team - Part 2
Continuing from last month - it's critical that your staff representatives, be they product managers, sales representatives or marketing personnel, work as a team.
Here are 13 more guidelines to help you form a coordinated effort:
- Find out which ideas excite the team most.
- Decide how much time is available to do the individual activities.
- Plan a contingency for last-minute assignments.
- Determine benchmarks for the project.
- Establish a time frame for each of the benchmarks.
- Ensure that all team members have enough information to participate.
- Understand what team members already know.
- Plan how to convey the essential skills that team members may need.
- Create a plan to capture new ideas that can be implemented easily.
- Be critical about activities that you are presently doing.
- Question whether these activities are still relevant based on your objectives.
- Find ways to make this project fun and exciting.
- Determine how you will measure your success.
