Nimlok Tradepoints:
The 1-2-3 Formula
Being memorable is a critical key to trade show success. But how do you ensure that your marketing message is remembered? Try the 1-2-3 Formula:
- Your exhibit should convey one marketing message. This should be a simple and catchy phrase, directly tied to whatever your exhibiting goal is for a particular show.
- Avoid cramming too much text on your graphics. No one reads and retains the information. Keep graphics clean and simple, both to attract attention and to enhance memorability. Pictures paint a thousand words.
- Repetition is the key to memorability. Aim at exposing your marketing message at least three times to visitors. Signage and graphics are one way, literature and give-away items another. The third, and most important way for an attendee to receive your marketing message is directly from your sales staff, while engaged in a meaningful conversation.
